Competitive girls from Cooroy Gymnastics Club have had huge success this month competing at first the Gympie Invitational Competition and then the Mitchelton Youth Club Invitational Competition.

Girls in levels 1-5 competed with outstanding results in all levels with many competing a new level and new skills on each apparatus. We would like to congratulate the level 4 and 5 girls on level testing and qualifying for State Championships.

We wish the girls all the best in all their competitions to come and are so proud of the hardwork they have put in this year. 

The Cooroy Gymnastics Club Monthly Committee Meeting will be held on Saturday the 19th of November at 10am at Jamaca Blue in Cooroy.

Please come along and help us with the running of this great club

Christmas School Holiday Activities 2012 - gymnastics, games, fun and more fun

January  9 to 13 and Jan 16 to 20 - two weeks of  camp Morning program 11am to 1pm and 1.30 to 3.30pm

$18 for one session and $30 for both sessions 11 to 3.30pm  

6  years of age and up and no previous gymnastic experience necessary.

Gymnastics  and trampoline fun, crafts (tie-dying, beading)  games, pit games, outdoor activites etc

Sign up in the office before Dec 16  to avoid disappointment as spaces are limited! 

The Cooroy Gymnastics Club would like to thank and acknowledge the Sunshine Coast Council for all of their support this year.

Sunshine Coast Council have been generous in their support and we have received three grants from them to help run and maintain the Gymnastics Club.

This year we received money from the Community Partnership Grant.  With this grant we were able to repair equipment including the pit trampoline and have pest control and the steam-cleaning of the sprung floor area completed.

The Council also have replaced the lighting within the building with energy efficient lighting. This has made a huge difference to the lighting in the club and the running cost for electricity has been reduced

The Gymnastics Club received another Council grant to pay for water rates for the year after the take over of water resources from council.

We have also secured a grant to replace the roof ventilators on top of the building.  This project will start shortly and will help with keeping the building cool in the coming summer months.
